You also like to try to open all the cabinets in the house, and pull everything out in the cabinet. This has lead to a few finger pinches, which end up in tears. Daddy and I need to install those child safety things in the cabinets.
In the first picture you are doing what Daddy and I call the "Swan Dive!" When we hold you and you want down or aren't happy you fling your whole body backwards. That is why this move is the SWAN DIVE :)
Today, you went to the doctor for you well baby check up. You did awesome and are really healthy as always! You weighed 22 lb and 8 oz and are in 74 percentile. You are 29.5 inches long and are the 83 percentile. You kept trying to grab the doctors stethoscope and pull all of his stuff out of his little bucket. We were in the "rash room" this time, Momma was not happy. The walls looked like it had chicken pox.
Here you are again playing with Daddy. You get really excited when daddy comes home from work now. It makes Daddy day to see you get all excited when he comes home! :)
You have a lot of fun in your newly decorated playroom. You get so excited whenever we walk into that room because you get to see Mickey Mouse all over the place!
In this picture you are playing with your baby seal. You like the chew on its head. :P Two more of your top teeth just broke through, which is why you have been enjoying chewing on your seal so much lately.
Your favorite toys right now are probably your standing music activity center, your cash register, and your slinky.
You also love the book called, "Potty" its your favorite. You even smile at one particular page every time daddy and I read it to you.
Here we are playing in your swimming pool. We decided that instead of filling it up with water this day we would lay a towel and toys down inside it for you to play with, while we watched Daddy work in the yard. We played pretty nice for a few minutes before you decided that it was more fun to try to climb out of your pool.
This past weekend Daddy and I took you to Indy for a shopping day. First we went to get Daddy a few new suits for his birthday and fathers day, then we went out for lunch, and finally we went to Grandma Wezzy's salon to get some haircuts.
Here you are being a good boy watching mickey at the salon while Daddy got his haircut.
We even had to take Mickey to lunch with us. In order for you to stay seated long enough for Mommy and Daddy both to eat, we have to take the I pad into the restaurant and let you watch Mickey Mouse. A little boy walked by with his mom and stopped to watch Mickey too! I have to say you were very well behaved during the whole meal. You even got to have a little ice cream.
Here you are outside swinging with Daddy!
And of course watching Mickey Mouse...
So Mommy had this great idea to make Daddy a birthday/fathers day card and I was going to have your hand and foot prints on the card. I got some paint and we went outside to make Daddy's card. Well... lets just say we didn't end up getting any hand or foot prints and just made a big mess. You had a blast though. Playing with the paint and spill the water all over the place.
The paint said that is was washable. It might be washable from skin but not clothes. This yellow shirt is now your, "painting shirt!" :)
This is another favorite activity. You love when Mommy cases you around the kitchen and underneath the kitchen table. You laugh so hard when I crawl after you and tickle you. Unfortunately though it usually ends up in tears because you will try to stand up under the table and hit your head. :( I don't think we will be playing this game anymore.
This weekend we also used our neighbors bike and took you for your first bike ride. You seemed to like it. You just looked around.
Today Mommy cooked from peas, greens beans, carrots, and corn with our dinner. I decided to let you try some veggies. As you can see from the picture you loved it! Especially the peas! You are just like Daddy if you get excited to eat vegetables.
This is another picture from today. Daddy was feeding you your last bottle before bed. We love when you fall asleep in our arms, you look like a little angel.
I also love your hair in the picture. Mommy has a lot of fun styling your hair!
You can't see it from the picture but you actually gave Daddy a pretty wicked scar on his face this week. You and him were playing on the floor and one of your nails get Daddy right under his eye. Mommy made sure to trim your nails the next day!
Here are you crawling under the table. You just love it!
Mommy got a turn to take you for a bike ride.
Here Mommy is brushing your teeth. You like to get your teeth brushed surprisingly.
Being my little angel sleeping in my arms.
When we were at Grandma Wezzy's salon this weekend you decided that you were tired of haircuts and took a nap.
This weekend when we were out shopping we also went to the book store to look for some parenting books. When we walked into the book store you decided to rip off your sock and chew on it. While you were chewing on your sock we had to ask one of the employee's to point us to the parenting section of the book store. HAHA Never a dull moment with you Ty!
I hope you had as much fun this week as Daddy and I did!
