Ty, momma is a little behind on her blog post for this week. I have a lot of catching up to do.
Last weekend we celebrated Daddy's first fathers day. For Daddy's first father's day we got him a couple dress shirts for work, and you made him a card with your hand and foot print. We also got donuts, daddy really enjoyed those. For father's day weekend, Daddy was so lucky and got to install safety locks on all the cabinets! You were not to happy about the new locks. You were very surprised when you couldn't pull open the drawers anymore and pull everything out of them.
This week Momma tried taking you grocery shopping, which we made it through the produce department, and we had to turn around and go home. You just don't like sitting in the shopping cart or going shopping really, must be to boring for you. The next day, I really need to finish my grocery shopping so I thought I would try taking you again. This time I brought along the Ipad and let you watch Mickey Mouse in the shopping cart, so I could get everything I needed without a melt down. (It worked! Momma is so smart)
This week we also have been playing with your water table. You actually like your water table inside and without water in it. Go figure! Your not much of a water baby. It really doesn't impress you at this point. Maybe when you are a little older, water will be more fun. So for right now your water table is in your playroom, without any water in it.
This Friday our neighbors Heather and her daughter Emma came over to play. You liked watching her play, but then you got bored with her and wanted to watch Mickey again. When they were about to leave Emma bonked her head and started crying. Since Emma was crying you decided that you needed to start crying too!
This Saturday was Daddy's birthday. You gave Daddy the best birthday present ever, you decided to sleep in till 7:30! It was great! You and Daddy slept while Momma got up and cleaned the house. It was a great present for everyone. During Daddy's birthday you had a lot of fun playing with his balloons. You would drag them around the house and under the table.
At the end of this month in a couple days you will be 10 months old! Where has the time gone. I can't believe you are almost a year old!!!
Daddy and I love you Ty!
