A Prune!

Our little sweet pea is now 9 weeks and the size of a prune! I was able to get over being sick pretty quickly and feeling a lot better. This was my last week working in the Life Department at Federated. I did get hired on for another job at Federated, but I will be at the downtown building and Kyle will be at the ATA building. It sucks that we won't be at the same building together and can't have lunch together, but I am happy to stay working for the company a little while longer.

Fun news on Friday, Kyle found out that Federated gives their employees a present for having a baby. You can either get a free car seat or a savings bond. I think we are going to go for the car seat! We are pretty excited about that! :D We also got another package in the mail on Friday. Joyce sent us another cute pair of booties! They are so tiny and sweet! Thank you Joyce!

Another funny thing happened on Friday. So I have been pretty lucky that I haven't had morning sickness or been nauseous so far in my pregnancy. Well on Friday when we got home from work, I made myself some dinner and Kyle ate his left over chicken wrap and pasta salad from lunch. So we were sitting on the couch eating dinner together and just talking, and the whole time I thought I was going to get sick watching Kyle eat! It must of been the smell of his food or something because it made me so nauseous I asked him to go eat somewhere else! I felt bad, but once he wasn't sitting by me I didn't feel sick anymore. :P

This week we also told all of our friends that we are expecting. Kyle posted this picture on facebook. He wrote the caption, "Looks like when Ashley and I move back to Indiana, we will be bringing home a little souvenir!" We have had a ton of nice comments from our friends! This weekend we are just laying low and hanging out at home. We will probably get a pizza or something and watch the game on Sunday together. Nothing too exciting in the Benedict house.

Total weight gain/loss: 5 lbs!!!!
Maternity clothes? Oh Yeah! Maternity dress pants and they are awesome!
Stretch marks? No
Best moment this week: Not waking up to pee in the middle of the night, Thursday night (but don't worry Friday night I woke up 4 times! woo hoo :)

Movement: No
Food cravings: I'm enjoying eating plums but its not really a craving
Anything making you queasy or sick: watching Kyle eat!!! HAHAHA
