Mega Couch :)

Today was a very exciting day! I was able to sleep in until 6:40! And I only woke up once in the middle of the night. :) Momma is happy! It felt so good being able to sleep in a little bit today. I feel like I have so much more energy. I cleaned the house and I am doing some laundry. Kyle did all the dishes (Thanks honey!) After cleaning I figured I would blog a little bit more. So here is a picture from today..I am 9 weeks and 4 days in this picture.
Yesterday, Kyle and I had such a nice day together. We first went out into town and ran some errands. Kyle got a hair cut and we picked up some pizza. We just wanted to have a low key day yesterday so we decided to watch some movies. First, we watch the movie The Help. It was a really good movie. Kyle and I both really enjoyed it!

After watching The Help, we both were happy little clams just hanging out we figured we would watch another movie. It was between Moneyball or Planet of the Apes. We decided to watch Moneyball. It wasn't what we expected but I think we both enjoyed it. I thought it was going to be funny, but it was actually a more serious movie.
The title of this blog post is Mega Couch, and this is why! Kyle and I pushed our two couches together to make one mega couch to sit on while watching our movies. It is awesome! We both could stretch out our legs, plus we had tons of space. We have our reclining couches, but those are in the basement :( We can't get them into the house, so we thought of plan B! :D Chase (the monkey) even liked it.
Here are the new booties we got from Joyce. I had to take a picture and put them on our blog. They are just adorable! I love them!
We also got a card from Busia and Dzia Dzia! Thank you so much! We have a spot in our living room that we have been putting all of our baby stuff and cards from our family and friends. It's so nice to look at every day.
Now to other exciting news! Kyle and I decided on a baby bedding set! I found this bedding set on the Target website this morning, and I knew it was the one! Kyle loves it too! :) I love everything about this bedding! I love the little bees because it matches the bee on our mobile. I love the leaves on the bedding because it matches the leaves we got from ikea, and the leaves on our mobile. Its just too perfect! And the sheet and bumper is just adorable.

I have been reading that you are not supposed to put bumpers in your child's crib anymore, because it can cause SIDS or can cause them to suffocate. I just don't understand that because I think it would be safer to have a bumper so their arms and legs don't get caught between the bars, and they don't hit their head on the wood. I would think if the bumper is put on correctly and tied tightly to the crib, the baby wouldn't be strong enough to pull in down? Did you have bumpers for your crib? Or am I missing something?
