Sleep boycott

Ty, you are on a sleeping boycott, and mom and dad are exhausted!

You refuse to nap in your crib or pack n play. Instead, you want to nap for hours on momma! It is nice to cuddle, but momma needs to eat or shower at some point, too! :)

Along with not napping in your crib, you also don't sleep at night. Woo hoo! You get up multiple times during the night to eat, and lately you have been wanting to start your day at 4:45AM!

(Right now you are asleep napping on me, by the way...)

Other fun things: you hate taking a bath, and cry and try to climb out of the tub.

You hate diaper changes and will cry or try to roll away..unless we put Mickey on and hold the ipad over your face. Then you are happy and could lay there all day!

You don't want baby food anymore. So we are trying to give you more finger foods. You have tried peas, gluten free noodles, and chicken. You loved them all. You would much rather feed yourself.  You also had bananas but weren't too crazy about that.

You are starting to enjoy books more, but only if you can play with them somehow while I read. You like pop up books, touch and feel books, and of course your potty book.

You are starting to babble more. You like to babble to my feet when I tickle you.

You don't like when daddy leaves for work; you fuss a little and even tried opening the door once, too. But you love when daddy comes home! Momma likes it too!

You love unrolling all the toliet paper in the bathroom. So we usually have toilet paper all over the floor on a daily bases.

Last weekend over fourth of July, we went to grandma and grandpas house. You love seeing spike at their house. You chase him around the house and laugh and squeal when spike barks and goes crazy!

Oh I almost forgot, you have been standing independently a little bit! The longest you have done it for 5 seconds so far. Then, you slowly squat to the floor.

You will be walking very soon!

Daddy and I love you Ty! (Just try to take it easy on us sometimes)
