Ty, this last Sunday we got to celebrate our first Mother's Day together! You and Daddy did a great job finding me the perfect mothers day present. You got me earnings that are your birth stone. There are three stones total on the earnings a stone for each one of us! It was a very special gift. We celebrated Mother's Day with donuts and coffee with Grandma and Grandpa. Later that afternoon we went shopping at the mall to get you a nice pair of shoes. You are starting to show signs that you are interested in walking, so Grandma suggested we get you a pair a shoes that help support your ankles.

The Saturday before Mother's Day Grandma, and Grandpa came over to babysit while we went to a wedding. You did great! You even got to try some ice cream. As you can see from the picture, you liked it!
Here you are saying goodbye to grandpa before they went home.
Here we are at the mall picking out a pair of shoes. You also got a very cool hat. You just might have to wear it to your Uncle Andrew's wedding coming up.
Playing with Grandma!
Grandma thought it would be funny to put a headband and bow in the your hair. You didn't care. Surprisingly, you don't mind if you have hats or anything on your head.
Mommy and Daddy got your this new toy this week and you love it! It can even speak Spanish to you. This is the first toy that you have really laughed at.
Mommy took you to the grocery store this morning. We have been trying to get out of the house more since the weather has been so nice. I let you play with a toy while we were shopping. You liked to drop this ball about 100 times on the floor for mom to pick up. :) You also managed to spit all all over yourself and the yogurt in the cart while we were shopping.
There is this saying Daddy and I have whenever we sneeze. Its, "Hit the Deck!" because whenever one of us sneezes you get really tense and look back and forth quickly trying to figure out what is going on. It's pretty funny!
Here you are watching your favorite show! You love watching Mickey Mouse. "It all else fails put on Mickey Mouse!" That is the motto in our house. You like to stand as close as you can get.
This week you also have pulled yourself up twice. Once while watching Mickey and the other time you pulled yourself up on Daddy.
Here is a picture of me and you on Mother's Day!
Here is a picture of Mommy and Daddy at the wedding we went to.
Another not so fun thing you have been doing lately is only taking one nap a day. I don't know why you started this habit but Mommy is not enjoying it. By the end of the day you are really crabby!
Sounds like you are waking up from your nap... Love you Ty!
