Right now you are having a lot of fun playing with your toys. You really like this old toy that used to be momma's. You put a ball in the top the toy and it makes a lot of noise until it gets to the bottom. You mostly just enjoy trying to pull yourself up onto the toy though.
The blue toy box in the back on this picture is another thing you like to stand and hold onto. You will hold onto this and grab the stuffed animals on top. You also like to scratch your fingers on the toy box because it makes a loud sound.
At night Daddy and I take turns who gets to feed you before bed. Usually your bedtime routine is something like this:
5:00 - 5:30 (3 Tablespoons of brown rice cereal and 4 to 6 oz of bottle)
6:00 - Bath
6:45 - 7:00 (another bottle while daddy or I hold you on the couch.
lately you have been sleeping in till 6:30/7:00 and that has been really nice!
You have 6 teeth now! Can you believe it! You have both your top and bottom front teeth. You also have another tooth on the top and another tooth on the bottom. Yesterday, was a bad teething day in the evening and during the night but you made it through.
Mommy tries to think of new fun things for us to do. The other day I pulled out the plastic storage container with all of Daddy and Mommy's old bean babies and I sat you down in the middle of the container. You had a lot of fun playing with all the animals, and tossing them out of the container for Mommy to pick up.
This is another thing you really enjoy. A couple of days ago Mommy was trying to get some cooking done and needed to find some way to keep you occupied. I put some of your baby puffs in a muffin tray for you to pick up and eat and dump out all over the kitchen floor!
Daddy took us to get frozen yogurt the other day. You were kinda interested in the yogurt but I think you mostly just liked watching the people and the cars drive by. You kinda mean mugged a couple too. :P
You had vanilla and orange yogurt. If you mixed the two flavors together it tasted like a dreamsicle.
Daddy and I always laugh about trying to give you a kiss because you turn away from us and try to avoid kisses as much as possible. But when you are sleeping we make sure to get our kisses in especially, "Right on the Lips!"
This week we also had a play date with your friend Hailey. You did a pretty good job traveling with Mommy to Indy. You were kinda interested in playing with the other baby, but I really think you liked her cool toys! They are much cooler than your toys that are 25 years old :D
You really liked their dog Sadie. You would smile and laugh whenever she would walk by.
Here you are trying to crawl down the hallway to get the vacuum cleaner.
Here we are playing in the office while Daddy works!
This was another fun idea Mommy did with you this week. I let you splash water all over the house! I know Mommy is crazy. I put you in the kitchen in your high chair and put a little bit of water on your tray with some toys to splash around. Don't let your face fool you, you actually had a good time. Daddy was surprised too when he came home from work.
You are really started to get excited about your sport center. You got this toy from christmas but were too little to play with it. Now you are a pro. You mostly play with the baseball and football. You can also knock the whole toy over, and sometimes you also like to try to pull yourself up on this toy.
I love the excited crinkle faces you have been making when you play with your toys!
Here is the face you give me once you knocked your toy over! This is the, "who me!?" face!
Today Daddy and I played BUBBLES with you for the first time. Not going to lie you were not impressed. You seemed more interested in the bubble stick and the grass then the actual bubbles. Daddy and I had fun anyways.
After bubbles Daddy and I took you for a walk around the neighborhood. The past couple of mornings I have been trying to take you for a walk around the neighborhood after we eat breakfast. You don't seem to mind your walks but they don't seem to be your favorite either. You just sit there and wait for them to be over, but some fresh air is good for you...
Daddy and I love you Ty!
