Tuesday August 28th, 2012 Mommy woke up during the night for her mid-night snacks and to go pee for the 100th time in the night. When I woke up that night I felt a new feeling in my stomach that I have not felt before. I didn't think much about it and just thought I was hungry. Mommy was always hungry when you were in her belly! Tuesday morning that weird feeling started to get stronger. Daddy asked me if he should stay home from work, but I told him no it was probably nothing. After I made Daddy breakfast he headed out for work that day. I could tell that Daddy was nervous because he almost left the house without his shoes! That morning I called grandma and told her what was going on. She told me to time my contractions. They turned out to be 5 minutes apart! I called the doctor and they told me I need to come into the doctors office to see if it was time for you to be born! I called Daddy to come home so we could drive to the doctor. While I waited for Daddy to get home I vacuumed the house and packed up the car.
Mommy and Daddy got to the doctors office and they told us I was only 1 cm and it would be a while even a few days before you were born! We went to grandma and grandpa's house and ate some sloppy joes for dinner. Mommy was getting excited for you to be born. We waited until about midnight to go to the hospital. At that point Mommy was in a lot of pain and ready for you to be born. When we walked into the hospital my water broke right at the check-in counter. Daddy and I laugh that it was just like what you see in the movies. When we got into our delivery room they checked me again and I was still 1 cm. Mommy was in a lot of pain and couldnt believe we weren't getting any where. Mommy knew something wasn't right. Turns out you flipped in Mommy's belly and were breech. The doctors came in and did an ultra sound. You were sitting straight up and legs crossed. The doctor told us that we needed a C-section. Mommy was pretty bummed but excited I would get to meet you sooner! At this point it was 6:00a.m. on Wednesday August 29, 2012 when we found out that we needed a c-section. Mommy was taken into the operating room to get ready for surgery. Daddy stayed behind for a few minutes to get his scrubs on. (He looked pretty cute in his scrubs!) Daddy and I were excited that you would be born soon! The doctor held you up and Mommy and Daddy fell in love with you instantly! You were born August 29, 2012 at 7:01 a.m. and weighed 7lbs!
Daddy went over and cut the cord. A nurse came and placed you in my arms. We couldn't believe how much hair you had! You were the sweetest baby and we just fell in love with you instantly. Daddy was very emotional when you were born. He would look at you and cry! The three of us got to spend time together in the recovery room. Mommy held you while you ate and we just kissed you A LOT! You are the the most beautiful baby we have ever seen! You were very healthy and alert when you were born.

You have the most beautiful eyes. We can't believe how tiny you were! You looked a lot like Mommy when she was a baby!

Mommy was so tired but I couldn't sleep I just wanted to spend every second with you and hold you and kiss you! You loved to lay on Mommy!
Daddy and I were very thankful that you were healthy and we couldn't wait to take you home!
