Sick Momma! And Presents!

I have been sick these last few days. I came down with a terrible cold. I missed two days of work and have been lying on the couch trying to get better. I probably caught something this past weekend at Ikea being around all of those people. This is what I get for finally going out and doing something in Minnesota, I get sick! Kyle has done a great job taking care of me. He even sang me "Soft Kitty!" Resting these last few days has really helped and I'm feeling a lot better. Our next door neighbor even brought over some Vitamin C mix and tea for me. :) I thought that was so sweet.

Today, I am 8 weeks pregnant. I'm not sure the size of Sweet Pea yet because the app on my phone hasn't changed yet. But here is a picture of me at 8 weeks. Don't mind my messy messy messy room, this is what our place looks like when momma is sick. :( It looks like I have a food baby, rather than a baby baby at the moment! :p



Even though I have been sick, I received the best surprise from my parents! Today Kyle came home for lunch to check on me. While he was eating lunch the UPS guy dropped off a package at our door. My mom told me that I would be getting something in the mail today. I didn't expect this huge box! I opened the box to find a bunch of presents inside! Some for me and some for Sweet Pea! It was so sweet! I cried the whole time opening the presents. :D First, here are the presents for Sweet pea.

How cute is this outfit! I love the stars! And of course the I Love Mommy part! It's still crazy to think about how I am going to be someone's mommy! I love it!
Next, my dad picked this out. Or I should say GRANDPA picked this outfit out. I LOVE this colts onesie! It comes with a bib and booties. Even if its a girl, she will still wear this outfit because its to cute! Ill just put a little blue bow in her hair.

My dad also picked out these outfits! It says, "Mommy's Rockstar!" I love both of these! Our baby will definitely be a rock star. :)

Sweet Pea also got a pack of white onesies! These are so simple, sweet, and practical. I know these will get a TON of use! I can't believe how small the outfits are! I love it all!
Not only did Sweet Pea get presents. But Momma also got early birthday presents. My parents got me three maternity tops and two pairs of maternity pants! And let me tell you the pants came just in time! The other day I tried to put on TWO of my regular dress pants and I couldn't even get them to zip! HAHA! I could fit in those dress pants just a couple of months ago. But I am so excited about my new clothes! I can't wait to try them on! THANK YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA we LOVE our presents!
