Our Little Blueberry

Baby Benedict is now 6 weeks and a few days. This week was pretty low key for Kyle and myself. Kyle has been busy with school work, and I have just been relaxing. I am still pretty tired, but I feel great. I don't feel nauseous or anything, which I'm happy about. I am sleeping pretty well but I hate having to wake up in the middle of the night to pee all the time! That's pretty annoying. (Now I know how my Mom feels ;) I can tell that my stomach is getting a little bigger. I also found a doctor close to where we live and we have our first doctors appointment on the 30th. I know that I'm going to hate that appointment but I just need to stay positive :)

Below is a picture of a pair of booties Joyce mailed to us! I love this booties they are so girlie. Perfect for a little princess! We don't know if it's a girl yet, but I have had a feeling since we found out we were pregnant that it was a girl. We still have a few more months until we learn what we are having.

Here is a picture of me next to our baby board. This was right after work and I was pretty tired. Kyle wanted me to take a picture next to the board before I changed it. Our little Sweet Pea keeps growing. :)

Here is Kyle working on homework. He is busy all the time study, taking tests, getting ready for sale's competitions, and writing his Speak Easy. All of his hard work is for our family and little sweet pea! It's good motivation. I know he is getting burnt out from all the work but it is worth it in the end! He moved his desk out in the family room so that he can be closer to me while he is working. He did has his desk in his own office, but we both hated it because he was isolated in the back of the house. At least this way we are in the same room together while he his working. Plus, he is closer to the kitchen when he needs snacks! ;)

Our little Sweet Pea is now the size of a blueberry. I updated our baby board this week. I love my I-phone app that tells me the size of the baby every week. This week that babies jaws, cheeks, and chin are developing. The ear canals are in the making as well! The babies kidneys, liver, and lungs are also taking shape this week.
Other exciting news! Kyle and I have babysat for a couple federated families since we have been in Minnesota. Great practice right?! Anyways, one of the families is selling a reclining couch and love seat. Kyle has always loved the reclining couches my parents have. They are selling the couch and the love seat for $250! The woman (also Kyle's Phase 2 Teacher) said they were never really used, they are in good shape, plus they never had dogs or cats so we don't have to worry about that. We have to been to there house and they keep there stuff in nice shape. We figured if they are nice quality couches for a great price we can't pass it up. We are going to go see them and pick them up this week or so. I told Kyle I wont be able to help him move them because of baby. So he will probably get a classmate to come along and help :) Here are a couple pictures of the couches.

  1. WOW! Lots of exciting news this week! Sorry about having to pee all the time :( I am glad Kyle moved his desk out by you. That is a great idea! No need for both of you to be alone all the time.

What a GREAT deal on the couches!!! They look fabulous!
