We were able to go to the cities on Saturday. The weather was nice (for up here at least). It was sunny and the roads were clear, so it was a great day to go shopping. Here are some pictures of our trip and some of the things we got during our trip!

First, we got this blue star lamp that hangs on the wall. It has little holes in the star so that the light will shine through.


This is one of the coolest things we got yesterday. Below is a picture of a display bedroom we walked through. Kyle and I both loved the green leaves hanging over the bed. They call it a bed canopy, and it can attach to the walls, and hang over a bed, chair, play area etc. Kyle and I both thought they were so cool and very unique! Plus, they are the green color we were going for. To perfect!



Next, we got this little wagon with blocks in it. While in college, I took classes on early childhood development and learned about the importance of block play for young children.


We also got a super cute mobile. It is a leaf with little bugs hanging from it.
We also got a changing pad for sweet pea! Woo hoo! :) I'm not going to waste my time or money on a changing table, and I thought this would be easy and practical to use. Plus, the material makes it easy to wipe clean. (Got to love that!)
We also bought very soft covers for the changing pad. The pack came with one red and one blue cover.
